21.139 To consider policies and documents for review or introduction

  • It was Resolved: that the Councillor vacancies policy be reviewed with amendments.
  • It was Resolved: that the Training policy be reviewed without change.

21.140 To consider appointment of a personnel committee

21.141 To receive an update on changing the Parish Council’s bank account No progress

21.142 To consider provision of Christmas cards for residents

Cllr Beale declared an interest

Council decided not to progress with this item.

21.143 To consider the parish information sheet 2021-2022

The draft information sheet was accepted

21.144 To consider the next edition of the parish newsletter

21.145 To receive a report on training attended

Cllr Patrick and the clerk reported on the LALC AGM conference presentations from

  • Wellbeing Lincs
  • Breakthrough Communications ­How to engage with young people
  • NALC Local Council Award Scheme

Cllr Whiles requested that the link be sent again for the LALC online course A guide to being a good councillor  

Cllr Patrick reported on Breakthrough Communications Strategies to recruit new councillors

21.146 To consider litter picking and fly tipping

Cllrs Patrick and Beale reported on a meeting with Enfortis regarding surveillance

Additional larger litter pickers were requested.

The clerk will contact NKDC about Enfortis’ services and tape for litter collections

21.147 To consider highways issues relating to the B1190 and other roads

  • Cllr Patrick and the clerk reported on a meeting with Lincs Road Safety Partnership about new reactive signs
  • Cllr Patrick reported on a meeting with Lincs CC, Upper Witham Internal Drainage Board and Doddington Hall about drainage
  • Community Speedwatch - no action

21.148 It was Resolved: that standing order 3w be suspended and the meeting be permitted an additional 15 minutes to conclude business

21.149 To consider community development including a report on a meeting with Doddington Hall

Cllr Patrick reported on proposals to limit HGV traffic. The clerk would contact NKDC planning department to discuss correspondence received.

21.150 To consider items for inclusion on the agenda for the next meeting of the Parish Council, to be held at The Cabin, Blackmoor Farm, Doddington on 13th December 2021
