Lincolnshire Police: Nothing recorded for the village; electric cabling stolen from Eagle Moor 

NKDC: Written reminder about making comments on the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan review with apologies received from Cllr Overton 

Cllr Appleby sent a written report relating to: Red Arrows delegation; Hill Holt Sensory walks; chairman's civic service; by-election in Billinghay, Martin & South Kyme

 

LCC Cllr Thompson reported on: children's services; Lincolnshire Show; civic service; B1190 correspondence with office of Dr Johnson MP; Black Lane signs; pothole Whisby Road;

19:73 Minutes of previous meetings  

It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That the minutes of the Meeting of Parish Council held on 10th June 2019 be approved.

19:74 Matters arising from minutes 

To consider the following items:

i. 18.69 Restrictions on traffic travelling on B1190 through Doddington No update

ii. 18.99 Refurbishment of the Doddington telephone kiosk Work has started on sanding paintwork; plexiglass removed; replacement of 21 panes will be: plexi £173.51/ Glass £302.31. GP to check price for each complete side in glass.

iii. 18.130 Community Speed Watch Two residents waiting to be trained

iv. 19:36 Litter pick Road signs ordered.  4 x hoops/ 2 x litter pickers now received.  Clerk to request prices for magnetic signs to attach to vehicles

v. 19:63 Doddington Post box    Resiting being considered by Royal Mail 

vi. 19:64 17/1865 Paradise Row boundary: No response from Doddington Hall to correspondence sent.

Work in progress on Sunday; complaint made to and acknowledged by Doddington Hall 

19:75 To consider parish councillor vacancies.   No update. 

19:76 To consider local council accreditation

It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: that the following items be purchased:

i. SLCC membership for the clerk

ii. CILCA training for the clerk

iii. “Arnold-Baker on Local Council Administration”

Application to vary condition 20 (approved plans) attached to planning permission 17/1865/FUL - Erection of 13 dwellings

4 Swiss Cottages, Whisby Crossroads. Demolition of free standing garage and erection of log cabin for nail/beauty salon.

Council had no comments to make.
